Among these top 3 locations, 2 specific locations have views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the hallmark of San Francisco. The beauty in both of these locations is that they offer different viewpoints of the bridge and additional scenery, adding that extra value to your gallery.

1. Crissy Field

This location is the most perfect stretch of land for those of you who are wanting bridge views, lush green fields and sandy playful moments. The Crissy Field inside the Presido is a 3 for one! This location is also very close to restaurants and trails if you’re feeling extra adventurous.

The length of Crissy Field is 100 Acres long, so be prepared to walk, but it’s fairly simple. The easy access to the beach makes moving your session along seamless! What I loved most about shooting an engagement session here was all of the space! It made for keeping moments intimate and personal! While the location is popular, there’s plenty of room!

2. Bakers Beach

stunning golden hour views of baker beach inside the Presidio in San Francisco

Located on the opposite side of Crissy Field is Baker Beach! Trading the lush green field for gorgeous golden sand and epic rocky spots that add a coastal touch to your images! This location is known for views of the bridge, rolling hills, and crashing waves. Parking is easy here with a short walk down to the water. The spacious location is perfect for glowy engagement photos that feel beachy and dreamy.

Bakers Beach is 1 mile long and has bathrooms nearby, perfect for if you’re driving in and need a quick break. These particular photos were taken on the sea cliff access side section of the beach and has parking so no need to hike over! For more information about this beach, take a look here!

3. Portals of the Past

A jaw dropping location that is guaranteed to make your engagement session feel enchanted and dreamy. What I loved most about this location is its variety. From beautiful tree lines, open fields, stunning architecture, birds and ducks swimming in the pond and a pretty mini waterfall.

This monument in San Francisco is capable of holding weddings as well! The portal is inside the Golden Gate Park, so if you decide to venture around the whole park, you’ll find plenty of photo opportunities! For more information about Portals of the Past in San Francisco, feel free to click here.
