A common misconception about couples photography is that there needs to be a reason.. something like a pregnancy announcement, engagement or purchasing a new home in order to justify having a shoot. I love the movement lately about booking your couples session as a form of date night and quality time because honestly, especially if you have kids, when do you set aside time for you and your partner? Couples photos are more than standing around smiling. They can be intimate, romantic, fun, flirty or simply ordinary. Think about what best tells your story and go for it.
Lucky for Kodee and Emily, these two were not shy on the idea of getting all gussied up and trotting around in front of the lens.
Taking place in the rural fields of Amador County, these two no doubt fell even more in love during their couples photos!

If you’re on the fence about booking the couples session, let this be your calling! It is so much fun to get out there with your lover and feel connected with where the two of you are in life at that very moment.
I had so much fun working with Emily + Kodee! As you can probably tell, these two have a knack for adventure, I mean common.. the bike?? Incredible!
